The Elite 4 Tournament will take place in early February 2016! All sign-ups should be completed by Wednesday 3rd February with the tournament due to start on Saturday 6th February. Standard Ladder Rules will be enforced, meaning that everyone should use their region-based teams  . |

Here are the draw numbers for the E4 tournament - 1 - mcnamee19 2 - MVF 3 - vsal 4 - Somo 5 - nuno 6 - Matrim 7 - Treecko 8 - applebuns 9 - Flygon The tournament will start on Saturday, with the draw being made by Friday at the latest . We will take it up until the end of the day on Sunday 21st February to finish all battles . |

What do the numbers mean? They were supposed to be to make the draw random, using numbers from a random number generator . I've now realised that it cannot be done as we need four different regions for each E4 position. Someone may have to change regions in order for this to work. |

Not sure if this can work without automatically putting unova and/or sinnoh in the E4(or at least one of them), i.e. if you want 4 different regions in the E4. We don't have enough participants to really have everyone at least battle once to earn their spots.
At least not in knockout form.
Maybe a way to fix this is group stages.
So a Kalos group/ Johto Group / the other three battle it out for top two.
OR
Put them all in one group, the top 4 go on.
If lets say kilos gets top 3, then only one moves on and we move on until we hit another region. Same thing happens to the john duo.
Unfortunately this means that the three lone wolfs pretty much barely need to work to make it, but this is the only way I could find without at least one of them tarting out as an automatic E4, at least they have to out due one of the three people.
This unfortunately kind of resulted due to a small number of participants, but I hate the idea of someone just getting an E4 spot just because they are in a region where no one else decided to join. At least let them outdue one person for real.
